Ongoing Training Programs

Training doesn’t end after the first program. Continued structure helps maintain progress, improve reliability, and support real-world success over time.

At K9 Academics, we provide ongoing dog training in Greeley, CO and throughout Northern Colorado, helping dogs and their owners maintain results and continue progressing beyond the initial stages of training.

For clients who want continued support with in-home and private dog training, behavior issues, or real-world reliability, we offer the following programs:

Maintenance Program

For clients who have completed an initial training program and want to maintain their dog’s progress.

This program is designed to:

  • reinforce existing skills

  • prevent regression over time

  • provide guidance as new situations arise in everyday life

Sessions are scheduled at a lower frequency, typically 1–2 sessions per month, allowing for continued support without the intensity of a full training program.

This is a good fit for dogs that are doing well but benefit from occasional guidance and accountability, especially in real-world environments.

Available to existing clients or by evaluation.

Behavior Stability Program

For dogs working through reactivity, anxiety, or ongoing behavior issues, this program provides continued structure and guidance over time.

This program focuses on:

  • creating long-term behavioral stability

  • improving consistency across environments

  • helping owners develop the handling skills needed for real-world situations

As part of our in-home dog training approach in Northern Colorado, we work directly within your dog’s everyday environment, where behavior issues are most relevant.

Unlike standard training, this program is structured to address behavior patterns over time, not just individual skills.

This is a good fit for dogs that have shown improvement but are not yet fully reliable in everyday situations such as walks, visitors in the home, or public settings.

Available to existing clients or by evaluation.
