All dogs are smart, and can have as many as 80 words, maybe more, in their vocabulary. The best thing for you the dog owner to do is to take into consideration what kind of a relationship you're looking for with your dog and to build a program that helps him to live a balanced life with you.

Along with the basic commands and obedience training, your dog will be given a trick to learn each week. The tricks can include things like sit pretty, shake hands, roll over, fetch, and even sing. These tricks are fun for both you and your dog. Challenging your dog both physically and mentally are the key ingredients to having a well balanced dog. They will look forward to training, so as you and your family learn to become strong pack leaders in your home, the bond you have with your dog will really grow.
